Give every player their job on the play

The animation shows where everyone goes. It never said why. That was the team talk, and by Saturday half the team has forgotten it. Now each player's job sits next to their marker.

How to give a player a job

Tap a player. Under their number or label there is a Job box. Type one line, up to 80 characters: "clear out the corner", "read the safety, then hit the dig", "box out 5". Clear the box to take it off.

Where your players see it

  • Under the play. Anyone watching the play on a phone opens More and finds Who does what: one line per player, next to the same QB, X or 7 that's on their dot. On a laptop the list sits beside the pitch.
  • On the sideline. Sideline mode has a Jobs button. Tap a line and that player is ringed on the pitch, so "which one am I?" gets answered on the diagram.
  • On a shared play. A published play shows the list under the animation.
  • On paper. The play card and the playbook booklet print every job above your notes. Wristbands stay as they are: there's no room on one to read a sentence mid-game.

Screen readers read each player's job after their run.
