Flip a play to the other side in one tap
- canvas
- plays
Most set plays get run to both sides: a left-footed and a right-footed corner, Trips Right and Trips Left, a lineout to either touchline. Until now that meant drawing every player and every run a second time, and getting it slightly wrong.
One tap on the canvas
Press Flip left/right (it's under More on a phone, or press F on a keyboard) and the whole play swaps sides: every player, every run, every pass and the ball. It still aims at the same goal. Changed your mind? Undo puts it straight back, and flipping again does too.
Keep both versions
In My Plays, open a play's menu and choose Duplicate flipped. You get a new play that runs the other way, next to the original, in the same playbook. If the name says which side it goes to, the copy's name says the other side: "Trips Right" comes back as "Trips Left". It counts as a saved play, the same as Duplicate does.
Works for soccer, rugby, field hockey, basketball, American football and netball. Baseball plays can't be flipped: runners only go round the bases one way.
