Football coaches now have their own shelf in the drill library, with twelve flag football drills your players can watch before they run them. Find them all on the flag football drills page.
What is on the shelf
- Flag-pull angles and catch and tuck, for the youngest groups.
- Shotgun snap and centre release, quarterback drop and throw and the handoff mesh.
- Routes on air, the pitch sweep and 3-on-2 passing.
- Rush from seven yards, man coverage mirror and zone drops for the defence.
- Handoff relay, a race to finish practice.
Each drill has the setup, the coaching points, how to make it harder, and which flag rules it assumes: no contact, the seven-yard rush line and the no-run zones.
Put them in a practice plan
Press Add to a practice plan on any drill, or pick American football in the practice plan maker. The drills come with their time and the one thing to say, and they print on your run sheet. If you have an account, Add a drill in Sessions lists them too.
You can also find them at the bottom of the flag football play designer page.
