About this play

Manchester United's stoppage-time winner in the 1999 Champions League final at the Camp Nou, two minutes after Teddy Sheringham's equaliser. David Beckham swings in a corner from the left, Sheringham heads it on across the six-yard box, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, moving towards the far post, sticks out a foot to turn it into the roof of the net. United won 2-1. A flick-on works because the keeper and the defenders all set themselves for the first contact, not the second.
