About this play
Named after Allen Iverson, whose Philadelphia 76ers ran it for him under Larry Brown. The two guard starts on the right wing, sprints across the top of the key over screens from both bigs at the elbows, and catches on the far wing with his defender caught on the screens. It works because the screens come one after another: the defender cannot go under both, and the cutter is open the moment he clears them.
