About this play
A set Gregg Popovich's Spurs used for corner threes. The ball handler drives baseline from the right wing, drawing the help defence towards the basket. On the far side a big sets a screen on the corner shooter's defender as the shooter slides to the left corner, and the driver throws the ball back across the baseline. It works because the help defender is looking at the drive and the screen arrives from behind him: the pass lands with the shooter unguarded.
