About this play

The goal that won Manchester City the 2011-12 Premier League on goal difference, on the final day, with the clock at 93 minutes 20 seconds. Sergio Agüero plays the ball into Mario Balotelli at the edge of the area and runs on; Balotelli, falling, pokes it back into his path on the right of the box, and Agüero goes past a defender and shoots past the keeper. City won 3-2. A one-two works here because the defenders follow the ball into Balotelli and leave the passer.
