About this play
Brazil's fourth goal in the 1970 World Cup final in Mexico City, scored by captain Carlos Alberto with four minutes left. Rivelino finds Jairzinho on the left, Jairzinho cuts inside with Facchetti following him, and Pelé, unmarked at the edge of the area, rolls the ball into the path of Carlos Alberto arriving from right back. It works because Jairzinho has dragged Italy's left back across the pitch, leaving the whole right flank empty for the overlapping full back.
