About this play
Super Bowl LII, February 2018: fourth and goal at the New England 1 just before half-time, and the Philadelphia Eagles went for it. Quarterback Nick Foles walked up towards the line as if changing the call, the ball was snapped directly to running back Corey Clement, who ran left and pitched to tight end Trey Burton on the reverse. Burton, a college quarterback, threw to Foles, who had drifted unmarked into the right side of the end zone. Every defender followed the ball; nobody covered the quarterback. The Eagles won 41-33.
