Fifty-two famous plays, upvotes, and search in the play library
- plays
- library
- sharing
The play library used to list only what coaches had made public, which on a new site is not much to browse. It now opens with 52 famous plays across all six sports, drawn by the Playmaker team and credited to "Playmaker": Carlos Alberto's goal for Brazil in the 1970 World Cup final, Barcelona's six-second press, the Iverson cut, the Spurs' Hammer, the Philly Special, Gareth Edwards' try for the Barbarians, Jeter's flip play and more.
Every one animates. Press the picture to watch it move, read a short paragraph on what happens and why it works, then Remix this play to put it on your own pitch and change it for your team.
Find it under Play library in the sidebar, or at the foot of any page.
Featured plays
The top of the Plays page, and of each sport's page, now has a short row of featured plays.
Upvotes
Every play has an upvote button, on its card and on its page. You need to be signed in to upvote, you get one upvote per play, and pressing it again takes it back. You cannot upvote your own play. There is a new Most upvoted order next to Newest.
Search
There is a search box at the top of the Plays page. It searches play names, the famous plays' descriptions, and sports, so "press", "corner", "Iverson" or "field hockey" all work. Browsing, searching and remixing still need no account.
